Our mission is to ensure they have everything required to perform at their best when our community needs them most.
Fauquier County’s Current Needs:
-
Cost: Up to $30,000 each — Goal: 2–12 units
The Hamilton T1 Ventilator is a compact, transport-ready critical-care ventilator capable of supporting patients from the scene of an emergency through hospital arrival. It provides life-sustaining respiratory support during severe medical emergencies, trauma, and critical transfers.
Fauquier County is seeking 2 units for EMS Supervisors (critical care paramedics) and 12 units total to equip every first-out ambulance.
This investment ensures patients receive ICU-level ventilation immediately — not minutes or hours later. -
Cost: $575 each — Goal: 25 units
The Abdominal Aortic and Junctional Tourniquet (AAJT) is a lifesaving device designed to control severe bleeding in areas where traditional tourniquets cannot be applied — such as pelvic, groin, or abdominal injuries.
These devices are crucial for major traumatic incidents including vehicle crashes, farm injuries, industrial accidents, and mass-casualty events.
Fauquier County needs 25 AAJTs to equip each ambulance with one.
Your support helps stop life-threatening hemorrhage when every second counts. -
Cost: $850 each — Goal: 2–25 units
The Ferno KangooFix provides safe, secure transport for newborns — without separating them from their mothers.
Currently, EMS crews often must transport a newborn and mother in separate ambulances for safety reasons. This system allows both patients to remain together in the same unit, improving safety, comfort, and important early bonding.
The county needs 2 systems for EMS Supervisors and up to 25 systems to place one on every ambulance.
Your donation directly supports the most vulnerable patients we care for. -
Cost: $20,000 each — Goal: 2 units for Warrenton Volunteer Fire Company
The LUCAS 3 device delivers consistent, high-quality chest compressions during cardiac arrest — far more effective than compressions done by hand, especially during long transports or complex rescues.
This device frees paramedics to focus on airway management, medications, and defibrillation while ensuring uninterrupted CPR.
Warrenton Volunteer Fire Company needs two units, one for Ambulance 1B and one for Ambulance 1C.
When seconds matter, LUCAS saves lives.
